The NY lottery has an advertisement at the Spring street subway station. The ad asks: "if tomatoes are a vegetable, then shouldn't ketchup be a smoothie?" Good question.
Of course, Adam had an answer: it's because smoothies are not heated/cooked, whereas ketchup is. Sounds like a reasonable answer although who knows if that's the difference. But it's a damn good ad. I appreciate good advertising.
